The Everfall

A very deep pit lined with spiral staircases and all other kinds of horrors that goes bump in the dark under the capital. At the bottom, lights from the rift can be seen coming up through the floor.

Once the arisen acheives his/her purpose, the everfall's true natural reveals itself, the floor at the bottom falls away, revealing that it's a hole through the world looping back into the sky over the pit, hence the term 'Everfall'.
