About the Lead Onion Engineer
Welcome to my swamp laboratory! I am Shrek, Principal Allium Architect and Chief Bio-Engineer of the Greater Duloc Wetlands. For over two decades, I have specialized in the structural analysis of layered root vegetables, pungent thermodynamic brewing, and natural boundary perimeter deterrence.
Many folks think ogres are just brute beasts who bellow in the mud, but true engineering is all about depth. Every allium cultivar in this catalog represents an architectural breakthrough: from tensile peel strength and tear-inducing sulfur concentration to nested structural integrity. When I'm not pruning wild stalks or engineering high-potency mud cauldrons, I curate this allium inventory to keep trespassers far, far away.

How this was cooked
I started by building out an onion generator. What is the shape of an onion? It's basically a circle or oval with a little pinched top, and then you have roots at the bottom and leafy stalks shooting out of the neck. A bit tedious at first getting all of the parameters keyed in, but once that was done, it was easy to add sliders and a button that added the current JSON settings to the clipboard to paste into the nodejs generator for static .webp images.
Instead of loading each page separately, they're loaded into iframes in modular popups for a faster browsing experience. Each second not spent examining onions is a second wasted! (You can also open the separate pages directly, such as red-onion).
