Project Overview
Assembled from a vintage hand drill donated to the workshop by Control+H, the Portland hackerspace.
A drill head mechanism was specifically chosen because the adjustable chuck can be clamped to any custom object to act as a dynamic, off-axis eccentric weight.
⚙️ Thermal & Current Protection Note:
The CC/CV step-down module limits the drill motor current to 0.75A and below—staying strictly within the H-bridge operating threshold to prevent thermal runaway and driver burnout!
