Welcome to the Library of Babel. This immersive, interactive 3D visualizer maps synthesized hardware blueprints alongside real microcontroller codebase files.
The 62 Codebases section indexes real micro-controller and embedded system codes I have written in the past. I wanted a cleaner, highly visual way to glance through my project history, and realized that transforming them into interactive 3D books on a shelf would be a neat, engaging interface experiment. I plan to expand on this concept in the future, aligning it with the same spatial design philosophy as my Universe project (where my entire GitHub workspace is transformed into a towering 3D skyscraper city).
The 20 Blueprints section represents hardware concepts fully synthesized by autonomous Claude Code AI swarms during the State of Oregon | Claude Code Hackathon (sponsored by Anthropic and Vibes DIY at the PSU Business Accelerator).
"I've thought about making a dynamic Library of Babel for years, but never could work up the motivation to sit down and do the bit of math to figure out how to best place books on the shelves. The swarm chewed right through that and only needed me to correct the camera movement slightly."
Mismatched Shadows: You might notice that the book shadows are slightly misaligned and cast in different, non-matching colors. I chose to leave them as is — their offset, vibrant hues perfectly complement the surreal, dreamlike geometry of the cosmic bookcase.
